Wedding Mondsee

The wedding of Baron Trapp with Maria in the movie ‘Sound of Music’ went down in the history of films and helped Mondsee to become famous and popular. In the 1960s they married in the parish church of St. Michael (Sound of Music Church) in the center of Mondsee. Locals, as well as couples from other countries come here to spend the happiest day of their life. In Mondsee you can find one of the prettiest civil registry offices in Austria. The access to the castle is decorated with a gorgeous yard of flowers; providing a magnificient ambiance before the marriage officially takes place in the prince’s room of the castle, which we are sure will cater an unforgettable experience to all. A picturesque panorama is also offered by the Maria Hilf church that thrones high above the lake on the ‘Hilfberg’. Wedding at the WOLFGANGSEE

Say ‘I do’ in one of the most beautiful places in the world, St. Wolfgang. Located on the north side of the lake next to the Schafberg mountain with its unique shape, the market township takes up an important plave in the cultural history of Upper Austria. The name was relates to St. Wolfgang, who is said to have built the first church at the ‘Abersee’ more than 1000 years ago. His well doings are still very much alive in traditions around the Wolfgangsee area. Closeby is the world renowned parish and pilgrim church of St. Wolfgang with its powerful altar by the artist Michael Pacher. Next to that the baroque altar of Thomas Schwanthaler keeps the derelicts of the holy founder of the church since 1676. Three altars and the pulpit of the famous baroque sculptor Meinrad Guggenbichler make the church a worldwide unique cultural gem and since 1706 – an honorable location to get married. In the times of the K&K-monarchy, in 1873, the technical era of navigation on the Wolfgangsee began with the ship „Kaiser Franz-Joseph“ . The tours by ship/ boat still impress many guests today as they drive along the cliffs of the Falkensteinwand. Famous painters of the 18th century carried the reputation of St. Wolfgang into the world and left their tracks. On 8. November 1930 we remember the premiere of the opera by Ralph Bernatzky „Im weißen Rössl am Wolfgangsee“ in Berlin. That raised global interest of the location. The delightful village of Gmunden is found directly at the heart of the Salzkammergut region of Austria. Wedding Zell am See


Zell am see is an idyllic mountain town which is found in the Pinzgau region of Salzburg. The deep blue Zeller lake is overlooked by the madjestic Ktizsteinhorns glacier, and introduces itself to you as an extra-ordinary wedding location. The registry office in the delightful Rosenberg manor house offers an extremely romantic build up to the wedding ceremony which takes place in the Elisabeth Chapel. The Chapel was built to commemorate Empress Sisi of Austria over 100 years ago, and is now used to host small to medium sized weddings.

Wedding Werfen Castle

The castle of Hohenwerfen is a majestic landmark that is found approximately 30 km south of Salzburg, it is located at the summit of a 155 meter tall rock formation in the Salzach valley. Hohenwerfen dates back to the year 1100 and is actually the sister-castle to the Salzburg Fortress which dominates the Salzburg skyline. The mighty castle of hohenwerfen serves not only as a shooting location for scores of filmmakers and tourists alike but also as a location for the most wonderfully romantic marriage. The castle looms high above the Salzach valley and its beauty and individualism can be admired from miles around.
